Carbon Tracker (Outreach video)

Carbon Tracker is known for its work on the “carbon bubble”, highlighting the financial risks of fossil fuel investments in a low-carbon transition.

The challenge was to translate multiple technical reports into a short, accessible video. I synthesised the material into a single narrative, developing the concept and script for the film.

To balance the technical content and move away from conventional finance visuals, we used a handcrafted paper-cut animation technique. This gave the film a more human, distinctive feel and helped make the message more engaging and memorable.

I led the concept and direction, working with my team on the narrative, visual approach and production. The result is a concise outreach piece that brings a complex financial argument into a broader conversation.
