Lake Chad Report and Website (Communication Package)
adelphi’s Shoring Up Stability project explored how climate change, conflict and fragility interact in the Lake Chad region — one of the world’s most complex humanitarian contexts. The aim was not only to present rigorous research, but to make its findings visible, accessible and usable for policymakers, practitioners and wider audiences.
The communication challenge was to turn a dense and sensitive body of research into a coherent public-facing package. The materials had to carry the weight of the subject, guide readers through key findings, and create a strong visual identity that could work consistently across print, web and social media.
I led the concept and creative direction for this package. Together with my team, we developed the visual look of the flagship report, including its layout design, illustrative brand elements, and a set of infographics and maps. We also created a dedicated project website and a series of social media assets to help extend the report’s reach. The result was an integrated communication package that gave the project a clear and contemporary visual presence across platforms.
